The production Art of Believing recently won the prestigious Herald Angel Award and is bursting with truly impressive flamenco music, bringing the passion and fire of Andalusia to Ghent.
Composer and flamenco guitarist Daniel Martinez presents his unique musical production, where the audience can enjoy a rich variety of flamenco styles: from the intense emotion of a Seguiriya to the joyful sounds of an Alegría.
The performance brings together an exceptional group of musicians: flamenco singers, guitarists, a cajón player, a violinist, and a dancer, who join Daniel in a powerful flamenco performance full of passion and authenticity.
Art of Believing premiered in October 2017 at Edinburgh’s Royal Lyceum Theatre and, thanks to the show’s enormous success, the Daniel Martinez Flamenco Company is currently touring the country, selling out theatres, guitar festivals, and arts festivals in some of the UK’s largest cities.
